FAQs

We understand that choosing the right program is an important decision for families. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from parents.

What makes Mid Atlantic Rage different from other travel programs?

Mid Atlantic Rage is built with a clear purpose: to develop players who are capable of competing at the high school, collegiate, and next levels. We combine high-level training, competitive tournament play, and a strong emphasis on character and accountability—all while keeping the program accessible compared to large national organizations.

Our focus goes beyond winning games—we are committed to long-term player development and preparing athletes for opportunities at the college level and beyond.

What is the time commitment?

Mid Atlantic Rage is a regional program with players traveling from across the Mid-Atlantic, so we structure our schedule to maximize competition and flexibility.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Fall: 7 tournaments (Labor Day weekend through the first weekend of November)

  • Winter: 1–3 optional tournaments in the South (prior to high school season)

  • Summer: 8–12 tournaments (post–high school season through mid-August)

Practices & Training:

  • Practices are optional due to the geographic makeup of our team

  • Optional winter workouts are offered to continue development during the offseason

  • Offseason strength and conditioning opportunities help players prepare physically for the high school season and long-term growth

Winter tournaments are optional and intended for players who are able to attend. These events provide additional exposure and development opportunities, with roster spots prioritized for current Rage players.

What do you offer players and families?

We provide a complete development and exposure platform designed to prepare players for the next level:

  • High-level tournament competition across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond

  • Optional winter tournaments and workouts to support year-round development

  • Experienced coaching focused on advanced skill development and baseball IQ

  • Structured guidance through the college recruiting process

  • A proven environment that emphasizes accountability, discipline, and leadership

  • A clear pathway focused on helping players reach the collegiate level and beyond

How much does it cost to play?

We are committed to keeping costs affordable while still offering a high-level experience. Fees typically cover coaching, field rentals, tournament entries, and team operations. Additional costs (uniforms, travel, etc.) will be clearly communicated upfront.

What level of competition will my player face?

Mid Atlantic Rage competes against top regional and select national-level teams. We intentionally schedule strong competition to challenge players and prepare them for high school varsity baseball and future college competition.

Our coaching staff focuses on:

  • Advanced skill development

  • Baseball IQ and situational awareness

  • Mental approach, confidence, and competitiveness

Players are consistently evaluated and given feedback to ensure they are progressing toward their goals of playing at the high school and collegiate levels.

  • Communicating respectfully when needed

A positive and supportive environment is critical to player growth and success.
